Closing the Opportunity Gap for Local Youth
Empowering youth through mentorship, financial literacy, sports training, and creative arts — all under one roof.
Together, we can change the trajectory of a child’s life.

Our Story
PATH began with a simple mission: help one young athlete find a safe and consistent place to train. That led to a powerful discovery — many youth in the community lacked mentors, safe spaces, and opportunities to grow.
What started as free training for overlooked students has grown into PATH, a nonprofit dedicated to providing stability, support, encouragement, and structure for every young person who needs it.
Today, PATH also requires financial literacy for all members.
Through the Student Stipend Program, athletes earn while they learn — $10 per session for middle school and $15 per session for high school. Under the 50/50 Rule, half of their earnings go into a PATH savings account and the other half to a PATH spending debit card, with a $5 minimum balance required to help teach budgeting and responsible money management.

Our Vision
At PATH, we envision a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive. Through our unwavering support in sports, music, and education, we empower young minds to build a brighter future. Together, we can create a nurturing environment that fosters growth, creativity, and resilience.

Our Mission
We exist to close the opportunity gap by giving youth the emotional, academic, and physical tools they need to succeed through the programs we provide.

Academic Accountability
At PATH, we believe that true success goes beyond athletics and extracurricular activities — education always comes first. Our programs are designed to support students not just on the court or in the classroom, but in developing the habits, discipline, and skills they need to thrive in all areas of life.
To ensure students stay on track academically, all PATH members are expected to maintain at least a C average in school to remain eligible for student stipends. This standard helps reinforce the importance of balancing personal growth, academics, and program participation, while providing the guidance and mentorship necessary to help every student succeed.
Academic Accountability
If a student’s grades fall below a C average, they will remain in the program but enter Academic Probation. During this period, their stipend is temporarily suspended, and 45 minutes of each session are dedicated to mandatory Study Hall and mentorship, where PATH mentors and coaches provide guidance, structure, and accountability to help the student improve academically. Once the student’s grades return to a C average or higher, their stipend eligibility is restored.
